5:30pm until 7:30pm
As a professional photographer, Scott often said, “I don’t take pictures. I create images.”
On August 28, 2012 Scott achieved a life long dream of being the first in his immediate family to receive a college diploma. His drive and determination earned him an Associate Degree in Visual Communication from Ivy Tech Community College Southern Indiana.
Now, in his honor, his colleagues, classmates and friends will present a special exhibition at the Pat Harrison Fine Arts + Design Gallery on the Sellersburg campus. This tribute will feature a timeline of Scott’s life through his own artistic vision. During his career, Scott created more than ten-thousand images. Many of these will be on display from his very first photographs to his final images, with other creative works from his personal journey throughout his life.
The opening reception will be held from 5:30-7:30pm on Thursday, January 17, 2013. Please, mark your calendars and save the date.
Join your fellow friends of Scott Slusher for a remarkable remembrance of the vivid images and lasting memories he left behind for us all to encounter.
