Unique Louisville-based craft brandy distillery seeks to expand its team of superstars.

We are looking for an inventive art director with great design chops, strong creative writing ability, and social media ninja skills.

About Our Team: As a small, craft distillery we value our relationship with our team. The Copper & Kings culture is collaborative, fun and satisfying! We are very busy, and the pace is fast and even a little bit unrelenting. We are a small team with a lot of work, the demands are high in terms of developing excellent work with great creativity and compelling messaging.

Role: This is a creative marketing communications role reporting to the Copper & Kings Creative Director. You are a visual storyteller, bringing design, photography, video skills and unique style to create engaging promotional and online content for both the trade and the public.

The role encompasses both sales support in terms of tactical creative for use by the sales team and consumer outreach in terms of advertising, digital and social media creative and strategy.

Graphic Design
• Work as a team with Creative Director to develop creative assets that can be used to help drive sales and consumer awareness.
• Develop materials from advertising to posters, sell sheets to brochures and Powerpoint slides and more.
• Work with team to develop and deliver digital and social media content – IG stories, videos, GIFs. Coordinate with other departments and media to mine relevant content.
• Design and production for ongoing optimization of website, social media graphics, static and rich banners and email campaigns.
• Translate and create marketing assets into compelling, appropriate designs and campaigns.
• Develop and maintain e-list and maintain email newsletter
• Create marketing materials (digital and printed) – informational brochures, menus, email flyers, proposals, etc. using Adobe Suite.
• Take photos and shoot video as needed for printed and online materials
Social Media – Executing a brilliant social media strategy
• Manage the day-to-day execution of company social media, including scheduling, posting, and community management mainly on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and company website.
• Create assets, write, post and respond to comments.
• Connect our awesome stories with our community of customers and partners in compelling and memorable ways.
• Implement and optimize social media campaigns/audience management — with a strong focus on Instagram and Facebook platforms.
• Build and oversee the monthly digital/social content calendar for each platform.
• Coordinate efforts with PR and other external agencies.
• Use performance metrics and manage performance results of digital and social channels against core KPI’s.
• Interpret data to provide consumer insights and to optimize the product proposition in other channels.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (Graphic Design, Visual Communications).
• Creative flair and intelligence.
• Ability to write compelling copy is very helpful.
• Connection to our target consumers and understanding food & beverage culture. A personal interest in spirits and cocktail culture is helpful.
• Competent with a camera and ability to shoot video.
• Personal use and understanding of social media communication and connectivity.
• Expert knowledge in using social media analytics and scheduling tools
• Proficient in Adobe Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information in a group environment.
• Experience working with printing/production vendors.

Timeline PhotosCALLING ALL MURALISTS: Proposals for NoCo Alleyway Name Mural, 5,000 dollar commission, deadline June 16th JPAC is seeking 2D artists to submit a proposal for a name/text mural to be placed at the future entrance to the NoCo Arts and Cultural District.
