Job Description

Trilogy Health Services is looking to hire a creative and highly motivated entry-level graphic designer for its Louisville based home office. The right candidate must display a basic knowledge of design skills as well as communication and organizational abilities and be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Anticipated start date: April 1, 2013. Responsibilities include: •Production of print materials such as: flyers, postcards, advertisements, billboards •Manage project workflow from initial design through production within timelines •Able to follow and execute given direction •Detailed oriented •Assist in designing branding of various materials such as benefit guides and training materials •Collaborate frequently with the other Communications and Creative Services team members •Ability to work and communicate with those working remotely (via email and phone)

Application Procedure

Qualifications: •B.A or B.F.A. in Graphic Design or similar (will accept resumes for those in their last semester of their degree) •Experience working in healthcare industry preferred, internships included •Knowledge of print production process, prepress process preferred •Proficient in Adobe CS5 or later and Microsoft Office Suite •Mac OSX •Excellent typography skills. Personal skills: Customer Service focused Creative problem solving with a “can do” attitude Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards Aptitude in working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment Examples of work done are mandatory for all applicants. Applications without the work samples will not be considered.

Timeline PhotosCALLING ALL MURALISTS: Proposals for NoCo Alleyway Name Mural, 5,000 dollar commission, deadline June 16th JPAC is seeking 2D artists to submit a proposal for a name/text mural to be placed at the future entrance to the NoCo Arts and Cultural District. This mural will serve as a connection point for visitors between the public parking area and the district. The mural will be painted on the surface of a repurposed metal corrugated shipping container that is 40 feet X 8 feet. The mural will face the alleyway that will house the future NoCo Paint Box Garden (opens summer of 2021). The mural should feature the “NoCo Arts and Cultural District” name prominently.
