Announcing Fall 2014 Jurors!


Melissa Bean Melissa Mann Bean is a photographer/artist who has been an art director, designer, photographer, instructor, and business owner since she stepped out of college. She has worked at different design companies and universities, including Golden Circle Graphics in Jackson TN, Union University, Lambuth University, Business First of Louisville, and Pizza Today magazine, and now she owns her own photography business, Mann Photography. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, son, and two dogs. Melissa also joins us in the spring as instructor for Commercial Photography!




Pip PullenWhen it comes to irritating people, nobody does it better (and with an English accent) than Pip Pullen. But in addition to being a gadfly and trouble-maker, he’s a highly respected thinker and problem-solver. With a rich history in advertising and marketing, Pip takes an experienced, capable, hands-on, and imaginative lead in all strategic and creative development. A study in sartorial elegance, Pip embodies Mightily’s commitment to stylish, branded excellence.


Jon Fairfield

Jon Fairfield is an award-winning Senior Designer specializing in branding programs and marketing initiatives for a nationwide clientele. He currently works at Stewart and Associates, which is a brand consultancy in Louisville, Ky. John studied Graphic Design and Marketing at Central Michigan University, graduating in 1994, and has also worked at Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, Baach Creative, and Black and White Design. He’s also served on the Executive Board for the Louisville Graphic Design Association, Advertising Federation of Louisville committees, and currently on the Board of Directors of the Coalition for the Homeless. When he is not working he likes to flee the winter weather and go surfing in the Caribbean.

The Art Club rocked an extremely busy event last night at Ivy Tech's Winter Wonderland. I believe we did close to 25-30 family portrait sessions in less than 2.5 hours.
