Biographical Info

A 2010 graduate, Leah Williamson works as a graphic designer, videographer and editor for Trilogy Health Services on their Training and Leadership Development team in the corporate office in Louisville, KY.

A completely new and different experience for Leah outside of marketing, she designs and concepts printed training materials that are visually appealing, easy to navigate and communicates the concept of the training program. She also shoots and edits internal videos for the company. The Training and Leadership team have NEVER had a designer on their team so it’s exciting for Leah to start from scratch and create a higher level of materials for the over 13,000 employees at Trilogy.

Prior to this, Leah spent 2 years as a designer and eventually a creative team lead at J&L Marketing, an automotive marketing agency, working with BMW, Mercedes, MINI and more on national campaigns.

Leah’s first design job was with Goodwill BridgePointe Services as their Marketing Coordinator where she managed design projects for 11 stores in 9 counties in Southern Indiana. She worked on many projects, such as their 80th year annual report, illustrating a children’s coloring book, and rebranding Goodwill BridgePointe to a clean modern look.

While Leah certainly misses the rush of an agency or even in-house designer, she feels much more at home with Trilogy where she can get to offer her talents in a completely different way than ever before. Just goes to show that a degree in design can take you anywhere!

Leah says, “I guess you could say I’ve kind of done it all since I graduated from Ivy Tech, and although the experiences I’ve had have been invaluable, I would’ve never have been prepared had I not had the support of my instructors and taken the variety of classes Ivy Tech offers.”
