Meet our Spring 2019 Jurors!

O'Neil ArnoldO’Neil Arnold is a professional photographer, primarily focused on corporate communications and advertising pieces. He received his Master’s Degree at the School of Visual Communication at Ohio University. Though he loves all forms of photography, he has a special place in his heart for captured moments and emotions.

Dac AustinAs Founder and Creative Director of NOT A CANNED HAM, Dac Austin has been developing compelling designs for clients both large and small for almost two decades. Specializing in brand identity and packaging design, Dac began his career in Atlanta working for such clients as Delta Air Lines, Georgia-Pacific, and AT&T. After moving to Louisville, he spent over seven years creating award-winning work for Brown-Forman’s portfolio of spirits brands. His designs have been featured in Communication Arts, The Dieline, How Magazine, Graphis, and The One Show and can be found in markets around the globe. In addition to his design work, Dac is a passionate educator who has taught courses at East Carolina University, the Creative Circus, and the University of Louisville. He spends his free time with his family and his Golden Mountain dog, Oslo and plays guitar every chance he has.

Casto, Mike_Relay-Headshots-2Mike Casto has decades of experience building unique brands, products, and customer experiences. He was previously Senior Vice President and Director of Design at Doe-Anderson Advertising, joined mindsalt in 2002 and Relay in 2017. Today, Mike specializes in branding, product development, exhibits, and architectural design, and he prefers working with entrepreneurs and start-ups – because there’s no better place to be for brand development than at the beginning. And as much as he loves design, Mike is really in his element when he’s in his woodshop building guitars, making furniture, or renovating his 1924 bungalow. Client experience includes 21c, Kentucky Derby Museum, Kohler, Humana, ZFX Flying Effects, Atlantic No. 5, Garage Bar, and more.
